I think the fake grandson (Ye Tianxu) already did thr forbidden ritual to obtain the bloodline. They both have it though. Are they going to fight, he knows he has no chance though.

Unless the writer changed their mind, my understand is that the fake has to constantly redo the ritual to fake the bloodline - like, every time he's due for a bloodline related thing he has to redo the ritual. It apparently just doesn't stick.

Considering that your body fully replaces all of its blood every seven days or so, it makes sense it wouldn't stick. I don't know if that's what the author was thinking of, though.

Though I wonder if the ritual is enough to fool the Divine Sword.
