It's such a common herb, and the preparation process was really simple too, and yet noone knew how to use them? Even though it has such an amazing effect and it works that fast?

MC should become an apothecary. She would have a tremendous success doing that.

I think MC is a bit too composed inspite of her traumas and way too knowledgeable for someone who was just a guinea pig. Now you can argue dissociation or that she learned things from listening to the mad scientist but i think this is more of a mary sue thing.

Feel like the main thing is that the effect of her acting skills and scientific knowledge are both a bit too good.

Like I think you could argue that the first half of her life in the orphanage would've taught her to suppress her emotions and learn to act like a kid selfish adults would like, and the second half as a guinea would've reinforced the suppressing emotions stuff and taught her some basic science but given her zero guidance socially.

So it's pretty reasonable for her to be good at staying calm, but her acting skills should be more geared towards appeasing the jerks at the orphanage than acting natural. There should be sort of a disconnect when facing someone like Rosanna who actually cares about her feelings.

Meanwhile her scientific knowledge would be fine if the effect weren't so good. Like the recipe for that drink and the knowledge was super basic, so it's reasonable that she'd know it but unreasonable that it'd have better effects than whatever Rosanna usually takes as a rich ass duchess.
