To be fair he got choked twice and slammed in the belly with a full bag but then she acted like a love sick fool. Anyone would be confused with that. This is one of the chapters that I point to that show the 2 of them shouldn't be together it'd be massively unhealthy, him over worshiping her and her treating him like he's some kind of insect constantly.

Re-reading these previous chapters, I had somewhat forgotten just how insufferable of a tsundere she is. MC had his epiphany, backed off after his final confession failed, and is trying to set things right after going overboard in pursuing her. I think describing his behavior as "stalking" is hyperbolic.

Meanwhile, she responds by continuing to call out to him, getting pissy that he's no longer pursuing her, verbally abusing him, following and ambushing him on his way to school (which I would argue better qualifies as stalking), before finally physically assaulting him because "mou stop ignoring me!" and "kyaa, teasing and flirting is embarrassing and gross, baka!"

In past chapters yes dense, but in this chapter she assaulted him and tried to choke him twice. how is any sane person supposed to think she must like me with that. Well maybe those who like to visit those domanatrix places

He never was perceptive he just overationalizes things, from the start he never got anything right. Even his conclusion over him bring a nuisance to Aika went to the worse extreme posible.

Don't forget the physical abuse in previous panels. Like bruh. Sure the MC overanalyzes everything, but in this case I think his false conclusion is reasonable.

I will be honest here
NO CHARACTER THAT DEAL WITH A REGULAR TSUNDERE IS DENSE (there is the light tsudere and the tease type tsundere, those ones it's possible to give better hints)
But regular tsuns? Nop, no one that it's not delusional would thing the tsun likes they. It's not being dense, it's being... normal?
