if I woke up in an unfamiliar place and needed to eat a delicious meal, I'd probably go to a restaurant as opposed to trying the cooking (that I might not even get to choose) of someone I didn't know.
Because you would know the one that cook in the restaurant? If you're rich with a massive house your personal cook would be way more skilled than most cook in restaurant.

If I woke up in an UNFAMILIAR HOUSE, and hadn't even left my room yet to see how big the house actually is (fantasy worlds could have really darn good houses for anyone), hadn't met anyone yet (she thinks that before she sees the servant), then yes, I would assume that a restaurant would have good food, as if one has terrible food its hardly going to stay open very long.
Respiratory disease? Ain't no way just having respiratory disease would make her so fragile. And fragile is a total understatement for her condition. That Status Screen is lying.
And you would think that the dude hired by a super rich family to cook specialy for them is less skilled that a dude that work in a random restaurant? Make sense...

once again, she hasn't left her room, and her entire human interactions (outside the hunter chat) has just been a maid, there is no proof at this point that she has a private chef.
