That's quite a start to the convo lol
it's a shame they couldn't have been born in more modern times (although i imagine jp would still have its fair share of lesbophobia despite yuri manga being popular. tho it would be amusing if all the bl/gl manga came out slowly tipped the scales of society to where it'd be more openly accepted even if they never legalize gay marriage)
