And trying to cover such huge mark with just her bangs is actually quite stupid. It would be easily visible whenever she moves. Why not wear head cover or headband?

1. Probably kinda rush through since this is the cliche 'prologue' part.

2. The way she reacted hurt his ego. Instead of acting like she lost something precious she seems ELATED at the idea instead.

But I wonder. If she never cut her hair, then shouldn't her hair be MUCH longer?

She has been active on the frontline for a long time, so maybe sometimes her hair just get torn in glancing blows.
It's probably the difference between cutting the hair off herself vs losing it to circumstances.

IIRC there was another series where FL had to wait until she was exiled to properly bring about the revenge she wanted, because if she chose to leave herself her divine power would just get passed onto someone else.
