This really seems to be forcing the tropes

Leah giving the emperor the wrong name
being hidden as a fackle
not finding out anything about what's going on so she can be easily ambushed
not developing her magic so she can't protect herself

I honestly don't understand why she didn't just admit she was one of the high-level witches. This all seems so forced to me.

@LightxDevil I thought it was implied that she was told to keep it secret, but I'm not sure since it's been a while since I've read the previous chapters.

Edit: Just checked, and she was actually told directly to keep it a secret back in chapter 5, page 8, after her mana caused an explosion.

@Svelandria I see. But why does she act like she's so powerless? Yes, she doesn't have any knowledge, but she keeps on denying that she has any powers. That's what is getting to me the most.

@LightxDevil Well, she knows she has power, but she doesn't actually know how to use it at all. Far as I'm aware no one has taught her a single spell nor how to channel her mana yet, which is something that either she should have already been taught by her parents like I assume all other witches have(remember, she didn't inherit the memories of the person she reincarnated as, plus said person was in a coma for several years, so she received nothing from her family in that regard) or it's something she is supposed to learn during the trials. She could have all the mana and power in the world, but if she doesn't know how to channel it then her power is literally useless. This time around she got as far as summoning her wand(and maybe summoning Yan in the process. Seemed kinda vague what he meant about her calling for him so I'm not sure if that was actually her doing with her magic or if he simply sensed her thoughts, magic be damned), and even then it took several tries before it even extended to the size of a wand from it's earring-sized form, so until she gets a proper lesson from someone then she can't do much. As such, she simply feels powerless and reflects on it a lot. I think the choice of words may be poor in that regard, but I'm not certain since I can't read the original language this was translated from and as such don't know if all of the nuances were transferred over well enough or not.

Oh, that Rina is a pure witch as well, I hope she'll stay classy even if she becomes the villainess (if she doesn't it'd be a surprise but hey, women supporting women is always nice), I just want her and the MC to play smart, not dirty. I'm more worried about the MC because so far everything she's earned is because of "luck" or because truly destiny is by her side, lol. Still, pure luck. I need her to work and earn the things with a little more of self-pride.

Aside from that, sorry but I think Lea is way prettier than the other witch, lol.
Ty for the chapter. <3

Girl, when the king already treated you like his waifu, accept it. You've been treating him like your husbando too, so don't complain when you excel in every test.
