Rintaro's so innocent when it comes to love. And it's actually understandable given how long he has given up on building human connections and is only starting to come out of his shell now. I want him to grow and learn the worth of a romantic relationship and come to desire it, but hopefully without the "help" of a love rival as a plot device.
