Oh? Is the fact that Saku and Subaru are both donut lovers who didn't buy anything supposed to tell me something? My side ship senses are tingling...

Girl, lighten up. You're a part of this friend group now whether you like it or not. Maybe Subaru still sees herself as sort of Kaoruko's chaperone or guardian, but everyone else sees her as one of them. Perhaps she still hasn't gotten over how she used to treat Rintaro and the guys, but they don't think bad of her at all anymore. Glad Kaoruko can see through her friend's worries.

Anyway, incredibly wholesome for a beach episode. I don't even remember the last time I've seen one of these without it being used for mandatory fanservice. Not a single swimsuit in sight, no swimming trunks for the boys either. I guess it helps that it's not really the season for swimming, nor is it the type of beach to swim in (city-side beaches tend to be... not so clean).
