Mama Tsumugi calling Papa Tsumugi dense makes me imagine how it was like when they were the ones still dating. And they still find time to go on dates at their age, like how it should be. Hey, even the parents are giving me crumbs of romance and I like that. As a side ship enjoyer I couldn't be more pleased aside from seeing a side ship sail from their group of friends.

I like that because of his kindness he's trying to be considerate of her scarcity of free time (very in-character for Rintarou), but I love that she insisted on matching schedules for dates with what little free time she has, because she wants to (Kaoruko exercising her agency, she's not merely an all-smiles pretty trophy gf, but a girl with a will and her own desires). After all, they started dating because they love each other and want to spend more time with one another.
