I have a feeling the dragon might turn into a girl. It's pretty much cumbersome to have dragon following you around after all.
If that happens, I am wondering which trope that dragon girl will be. We already have an energetic osananajimi (Kalin/Karin) and kuudere girl/s (Roa and Ahri).

you'd be surprised how much of an improvement that would be. Was reading a manhua and thought they were going to add an antagonists fiancé to the harem, only for the dude to plant a bomb in her and blow her up as a distraction to escape. Instead, a muscley spiky blond haired battle hungry rival dude joins and follows him around like he's a harem member. Honestly, like it more for the bait and switch.

But seriously, like with Shield Hero, adding males, lesbians, or couples to the group generally helps the story, since there's characters that are just friends and aren't trying to ride the mc's dick and might even question something the mc does.
