lol i wonder if she actually likes him or is willing to be his 'practice girlfriend' before the more stoic one. but they might make a cute couple for now, maybe not as a married /spouse partner but probably not bad for his first gf
My issue with this is that I don't see a scenario where "practice girlfriend" actually helps anyone here. Oshiko desperately wants a bf, that's been one of her main defining factors since she was introduced and she even propositioned Nozaki as soon as they met. Even if it was played for a laugh and to establish her personality, she then became a sort of relationship guru for the troubled Nozaki after he expressed his interest in Miharu. Oshiko already proposed a faux "date" with him back when they went shopping for Miharu's birthday gift. This time around she's fishing for compliments on her recent glow-up and is being more direct, after knowing Nozaki went out with his actual love interest and has recently began seeing a therapist (at her suggestion, no less).
Like, sure, she has a right to shoot her shot if she's actually interested in him but if this is a "test" for Nozaki it's horribly timed, ill-advised at best and outright manipulative at worst. "Hey you just admit I'm hot after I backed you into a corner so go out with me, don't worry about the rest!" Ok, then what? Does she see anything in him besides apparently being easy to gaslight? Also, there's no way Miharu won't find out about this and how is that going to end? Feels like the author doesn't really have a good plan here and may be writing themselves into a corner just to keep a daily comic going. Maybe this is all premature and I end up being dead wrong but guess we'll see.
And ghost-kun continues to be a side character in his own story, poor guy.
