Year late but maybe someone else is wondering as well. He goes off to military service after she decided to return to the idol work. When he returns, she ghosts him consistently but he goes to her meet and greet in order to see her. She tells him she has a boyfriend now and he should move on.

Later we find out it was a lie because she thinks its impossible to be together while she continues her career which she came to love. So in the end she still loved him but not enough to make a place for him in her life.

MC later on dates with a different girl and remembers the past while wondering if FMC has gotten her wish (he is pretty much over her completely) so its a happy ending for him.

No marriage in the manhwa. I don't know about any anime but if he married the idol, its an anime original ending since he falls in love and gets together with the glasses girl from the share house much later. Idol becomes completely irrelevant as a background image / character during the epilogue chapters. She doesn't even show up.
