Man I hate joonwoo always acting the martyr he wants to separate each other.

And hate the fact he obvious it is that jinwoo abd sungah are going to end up with each other.

Han sol most likely flamed the bad rumors of jinwoo get the feeling she takes enjoyment in messing with people and turning people against each other.

Sure, you could look at it that way.
However, his tendency toward self-sacrificial behaviour could also be viewed as a manifestation of his near non-existent self-worth. He's quick to throw himself on the sword because, from his perspective, that's really all he's good for. You heard how he was talking when Sungah asked him if he liked someone. The guy doesn't really think too highly of himself.

I do like the way he approaches his problems for the most part and I like him as a character, again, for the most part. But when I really think about why he does the things that he does, I can't help think that he is doing good things, but for the wrong reasons.

@matcap

I agree with you 100%. I just hope that someone will help him eventually raise his self esteem. Maybe all the people he has helped or will help in the future can eventually help him in return.

You’re right though, I was thinking he has changed a lot but he’s doing the same self-sacrificial things he has done from the start, but only more boldly lol.. hopefully he can learn to help others without sacrificing himself..

and yeah it seems that Sungah really does realize what he did for her next chapter, after rejecting him. She never speaks up to help him :-/.. hopefully that changes later on too

Well if he gets rejected, the MC will just be mocked but sungah will be left alone. but if sungah accepts his confession, their relationship between their friends and others may get worse but the rumours will be stopped. I'm just guessing

He knows he's going to get rejected. He's pulling a Hachiman; sacrificing himself to solve everyone's problems.

He did that to receive a negative response and then move out from the fmc

My boi just pulled a Hachiman on us. Totally crashing down in flames so that most people would see the explosion and isolate only him.

Yeah that is the only answer to resolve this matter, it's not you act like bastard and cutoff your relationship, but it's an act to force your relationship to be more clear (or an act to force cutoff without bad feeling in both parties ?), and to unease people's (unnecessary) thought

@givemersspls While I agree with you that Han Sol is not the type to attack people when it is unnecessary, it also seems like from the way it's drawn that she, Han Sol, has some animosity toward Joonwoo. To me her actions seemed more like a probe to find out Sungah's real feelings. If Sungah had real feelings toward Joonwoo I think Han Sol would have rethought her position. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Han Sol directly did anything, but she could have stopped the rumors if she wanted to. The fact that she didn't makes me think there is something more going on here.

My heart, lol. I dunno why I love this kind of drama. Especially if it’s the guy’s side.

Thanks for the chapter @ariette !

They say if you confess/propose in public, the girl would always say yes

Then after a month, she will betray you

Damn I saw the spoilers for this and was triggered all last week. But after getting the translation now for his inner monologue and what not I can understand what he's doing. Takes some fucking balls for this, almost reminds me of onani master kurosawa with the public execution. Although of course, this series isn't quite up to par with kurosawa yet but just being notable as a comparison shows its worth.
