Because these groups work like this:
1- run OCR on the manhua to get all text in a doc
2- send the doc to someone else to translate, or run through MTL, without looking at the manhua itself
3- send to typesetter to copy-paste text on the cleaned-up raw

And since Korean, like Japanese, doesn't use gendered pronouns, or pronouns at all in some case, it requires the context of the manhua to know if it should be I, you, he, she, they, etc... But that's not fast enough for groups that rely on pumping out "translations" before someone puts out something better and get donations instead.
