No, she needs to go to the party. This is for her future. Aya can and will wait. No need to blow a once in a life time opportunity. Setup is she will probably leave the party early and will join aya at the prom

And I’m voting that she is (primarily) going to the prom. A bunch of roses would be a little weird to bring as a gift for the party host. A different flower bouquet would be fine, but red roses are very specifically associated with romance.
