I really want to like this manhua but despite an interesting story and characters the pacing is ridiculous. I'm normally the type of person who hates filler and dragging things out but this might be a bit too much on the other extreme, there's rarely time to breathe and expand character interactions and thoughts and feelings. It's like the author doesn't know about the Three Catastrophe Rule.

I'll continue to read it since I'm invested and the scanlation team is doing wonderfully, but this is one aspect that continues to disappoints me.

Edit: like this story had so many chances for all of that but got to the point where an entire city dies in a literal blood rain and I just don't care because there's never time for contemplation and because stuff like that happens every other chapter so it gets desensitising. It barely gets acknowledged before everyone moves on by next chapter. I'm not starting an argument or anything btw just starting some valid criticisms with the pacing of the story. If you enjoy it still that's totally fine.

Im hoping this is some sort of dream bullshit but why the f is it here? Like Hexxy said, there is no knob for pacing, its stuck at 11 and it never slows down, just makes this shit exhausting to read and now we get dream/time travel bullshit thats going to last WAY to long and have ZERO consequences.

Is funny read the comments, because when I read this the first time I was really confused too XD But believe me that after some chapters you will understand some things and the rhythm of the storywill be more slow, looks like Author wanted to rush a little because she needed to show some things on the story
