Would be nice if after the MC got the boost from his pre-knowledge of the skill and catalyst and such, if he posted or told others about it. So often in these the MC is not even thinking about telling anyone else, never mind justifying not telling anyone. This doesn't seem like being setup like a story where he needs to be seen as #1 in the rankings.
