Despite Tomas sad background, he did hurt Adel painfully and think it is fun. I feel like Tomas got off light. I doubt ML would be forgiving if it was his mother or love one.
Finally hinting to why zero sign of his original life has shown up! Even though he wouldn't be as much help, I still would have thought he'd try and give himself a better life and possibly recruit himself as a weaker fighter.
