Meaningless Rant that I need to get out of my system:
Bit concerning that the first move by the maid is to bring the FL to some shady business (And the FL not making a move against the decision besides a verbal retort), especially one with nasty rumors them, What if the deal goes to shit? What if some passerby happened to recognize them? (Causing a scandal, or a reason to throw the FL into prison) Or even worse, the story decides to make use of the Novel FL's plot armor and decide to screw our FL over, I'm only just reading the second chapter so what I've stated previously is all just fantasizing about what could go wrong in a work of fiction, but still, should've claimed alimony lmao
