so, the man already had been shown to have a childlike mind as we have seen from his shenanigans from the previous chapters and also the boy's memories. and now after the girl showed him kindness, he seems to be having shining in his eyes whenever he's encountering/interacting with her..... sooo..... I guess a conflict between the boy and the man is going to arise for the girl I suppose.
