This is one of those series that you can never fully predict, because on one hand, you want to believe an author can properly write a pushover character developing and gaining a spine to stand up to their oppressors, but on another hand, those are so few and far between. Most of the time, an MC like this will just bend over backwards to forgive the people who trampled on them to be the 'better person' (which is already shown whenever the MC comes out on top and their detractors at the bottom) because the godforsaken work culture in Japan seems to have made people deathly afraid of having figures of authority be punished for their crimes against the main character. For now though, with only one chapter to go off of, I'll hold out hope that this'll be an exception, and that the author can actually give the MC their comeuppance without immediately ruining it by letting them get trampled all over again.
