It felt like pretty annoying writing that Tian Cheng would make such an elementary mistake with the mutant, resulting in getting dragged into the pool of lava. But since the real reason was the need to find the flower and the metcore (or whatever it is), I guess I have to forgive the story. It could have still been pulled off more elegantly than this, nonetheless.
