will we ever get any background on anhthing that is happening? things are just happening, people are showing up and leaving without ever doing anything. none of the characters are consistent, we have no idea why everybody is fighting. even if you want to argue that the plot isnt important because mc doesnt want to live like a hero then why is nothing he is doing internally consistent. he went through 20 years of hiding his powers then randomly decided to show off because he got slightly impatient about his maid guard not killing small group of goblins fast enough
