Oh, her breakup with her ex was around 6 months ago. Around the end of February. Yeah, I think it's still believable for someone to not have fully recovered from a breakup in that span of time. She's still likely sorting things out and that's part of why she wants to save liking and kissing for later.

Recognizing he was being creepy is actually a start. He can't work on bettering himself if he doesn't know where to start. While his brutal honesty is an asset at times, now he's learning restraint by the looks of him holding back what he wanted to say.

Mom has some wise words for him about loved ones. But her request to him not to tell dad that she was going to a reunion that has someone she liked in her past attending it made me raise my eyebrows a little.
