yeah, the inclusion of the shop that only he has access to kinda cheapens the whole power fantasy schtick. I mean why train or do something obscure or weigh cost opportunity when you can just buy extra slots.I hope the story has some interesting struggle when I read further since these are really early in the story.
(I'll still probably enjoy the story since these aren't necessarily enough to ruin the entire story, after all I'm here to enjoy a fiction and a new world)
