The first time I've been angry with a gag manga and a gag manga character. The King is an idiot, I hope he gets overthrown. Where the hell is the overarching story supposed to be going with these nonsensical developments? Like I said it's a gag manga so I guess some wackiness is to be expected but the author just keeps putting down plot points and then totally throwing them away for no reason.
It's not really supposed to be going anywhere: like a lot of gag manga, any big plot developments are just there to provide more places to jerk the reader around and kick up a few jokes. And, frankly, I'm pretty happy with that situation so far.
I kind of abandoned all hope for any real permanent plot development back when
Era washed up on the beach and became a Diet member as a cute amnesiac in a couple of chapters, and then everything basically reset.
At that point, it became clear nothing was going to really go anywhere once its humorous potential had been exhausted.

Lots of racism AND a swastika! Definitely an April Fool's Day joke and not an excuse to be the disgusting people everyone knows you to be (you know who you are).
Somebody really ought to make a compilation of all the chapter cover references here. It's always something like Game of Thrones or Cabaret or Eva 3.33 or Breakfast at Tiffany's or something. They're really clever.
