Maybe because its close to her house and he probably thought she was going to be near there if something went wrong.

no, she just doesnt have a place to stay, and just going and staying with any random new guy is not so simple/safe like this xD.....

I’m not talking about her situation in this chapter, I’m talking about the synopsis, which explains that at some point she will be torn between the new guy and the ex trying to get her back. How could she still be envisaging to get back with him in the future, when we see him treat her like that in this chapter ? This is beyond me
well thats a spoiler :x..... but I mean gou see this all the time....like... hypothetically wait till he starts regretting and chasing her super apologetic and treating her better than ever .... of course hypothetically.
This messes with the psyche of someone.... I mean its not like she rly stopped loved him, she is just trying to act logically.
