Aww, that was kinda touching.
Now I'm wondering what's better (or worse): him truly falling in love with her with a single kiss, or conveniently turning out to be her childhood friend/crush. I mean, both options are convenient as long as they provide a shelter and a doting love interest for the heroine. But too much convenience, especially explained through flashbacks with barely any foreshadowing, is a little disappointing.
Welp, it's only Chapter 5, so we still have a long road ahead of us. The male lead hasn't had many chances to shine just yet, but the heroine is adorable. I'll be mostly cheering for the second pairing of vice captain x loyal made that's happening in the background.
