i tried some testing using other upscalar (upscaly), from what i can see. it produce less pixelmelts, but for some reason though it smooth things too much the tone just gone and there's jagged line. I haven't dive into the settings tho...

so would it be better if i continue with my current settings or change? if you know how i can covert the png to jpg, which makes it possible for me to use the old settings, please tell me!

It's incredible how much your opinion of someone changes the way you see them. I tried to figure out why I found Pina revolting to look at, only to arrive at the conclusion that it's simply because it's Pina (apart from the purposefully caricatured panels where she's supposed to look bad).
