@myleh I mean, japanese office work culture tends to be terrible. Corporate Slave life? That calls for unreasonable coerced overtime(can be unpaid/normal rate), little holidays, etc. They get the money and job, but at the cost of their social life, health, and mentality. The Corporate Slave life is another type of mentality induced exploitation through the work culture, kinda like what’s about to happen to her(except shinier looking and being called a Saint). I find it ironic that the Corporate Slave is trying to stop her from being a slave to the country that kidnapped her. From how it looks like, just like how he dedicated his life to work, she’d be dedicating her whole life to save a world, and one that isn’t hers(she may be even willing to die for it). She won’t realize the life she lost until she misses the old days
