For a little bit, in the beginning of the first chapter, this series was okay. Then it became incredibly stupid.

The pacing is pretty off.
2 chapters in and suddenly he’s……i quite frankly have no fucking clue why this guy is those girls guardian.
Or at least the girls should not have been introduced yet or maybe given more exposition to their story instead of playing catch up on how they met from this point forward.
1 second homeboy was casting spells and disabling a nuclear bomb with a knife, the next………he’s at home? But it’s not actually his home? And those girls are just renters in the same apartment complex? But they’re not just renters cause he takes care of them? But they live in their own homes?
I am so confused, so much information was dumped without really any background.
