When my friend introduced me to Prince of Tennis nearly two decades ago, I wasn't all that interested.
"A shounen sports series? Not really my thing, bro."
Ironic then, that my friend eventually stopped following the manga/anime, while I kept up with the fansubs/scanlations.
What a journey it was.
Then came the unexpected sequel, but a few arcs in, I realized the insanity of sticking it closely.
Regardless, this series will forever hold a special place in my weeb soul.

I really enjoy this series, the characters are good looking and the series is exciting. The tennis matches are cool!
