I mean, sure, the demons are strong, but seeing how human side advanced they should handle it, the tech looks pretty modern unless they nuked themselves into caveman...
The group handled it better than Don, when he haymaker puched Norman for lying about trafficking instead saying they're basically cattle for the demons...
Adam probably came from the plantation where kids are raised just for food, rather for luxury snacks.
