I was right, Zhong da sacrificed one his family members I didn't want to be right I really thought Zhong da would actually think with his heart for once but guess he prioritises ambition over his companions.... Disappointed with him, idc if Huo decides to kill him once he finds out. And Meng still being so nice and understanding while dying literally breaks me. Idk how Zhong da and his brother's relationship is going to develop since it was clear he didn't want to let Meng get killed unlike Zhong da. You definitely shouldn't read TROT if you're depressed cuz wtf is that

This death is especially depressing because of how worthless a life Xiao Meng lived altogether. He kept doing things that he later regretted until his very final action - which until he had seen Jia Kui, he had taken solace in as his only clearheaded action.
