Because if yes, I can't see how this is anywhere near Lu Bu's level, especially with "find it shameful to fight beside old soldier" bit.
And while it's not really said directly, it feels implied that Liu Bei also grows in dropping ego stuff, but I can't say I see any change between him now vs him in the first 50 chapters in that regard. I don't know, I'm sure someone can convince me otherwise. I'm rarely good at subtleties and stuffs.
