No he didn't the white haired dude said he rushed back for the birthday and I assume they went immediately to dinner cause it was still evening. So even if they both got to their respective bosses at the same time they both would have had the same amount of time to tell each boss about said meeting. And since we see that white head didn't tell anyone on the way over we can assume the same goes for the other guy.
