Naofumi is terrible influence on Raphtalia...
Naofumi is terrible influence on Raphtalia...
Naofumi is the best influence on Raphtalia* you mean?Naofumi is terrible influence on Raphtalia...
Given the talk about selling them in Silvelt, labor probably isn't what they have in mind for them. They would be going to the country Melomark was at war with for so long as former soldiers who abducted children under the care of their object of worship. It would begin like the noble from the beginning of the story who took out his resentment from the war on Raphtalia and Kiel but then move on to a "public pig carving" as the buyer could use that as a public "display of righteousness" to gather political support.Of course not! It would lower the value of the product. Those goons burned down the village (again), so they must be in as good condition as they can be to produce gold when sold. At the end of the day, such brutish men would only be bought to be sent to the mines or to do other tough physical labour, or be used as gladiators. Maybe an individual could be bought by some pervert, but generally speaking a decent physical condition is a must to be worth purchasing. As it is, the average age looked unfortunately high, which is a detail that will hit price expectations hard. I don't think Naofumi & Gang will make a killing selling them, but gold is gold, no matter the amount.

They just literally decided to become slave dealers 😆Raphtalia seem different than usual. It must be Naofumi influence. I hope she doesn't become a slave dealer.
Yup, that's how the trope usually goes.<gorgeous Waifu picture>
Something like this
This is not a spoiler as this is an OC from the Chinese Shield Hero game.
Silvelt is one of the nations that worships the Shield Hero. More so, I think this was the one that was more zealous in their worship, to the point that he's kinda afraid to go there. For them, they can get a lot of popularity and authority in their country from supporting/buying from the Shield Hero and from killing enemy soldier slavers. For someone in a political position, it would be worth more than labor. They could use anyone else for labor, this one has value for them in the fact that they are being handed over by their religious figure and they are universally hated in their country. It would be a waste TO send them to a mine. That's true. Although I can't help but wonder how much anyone would be willing to invest in slaves just to execute them. In fact Naofumi should be careful the officials of that country won't simply snatch them with no compensation paid, as war criminals. What comes to labour, mines used to be a death sentence until fairly recent and modern times. In the 19th century they were still incredibly dangerous. Slaves and prisoners were fodder sent there, to feed the mines' endless hunger for workers to replace dying ones. Gold, silver, and precious stones mines were different things, often, since opportunists could privately found them and were perfectly willing to risk their lives in order to get rich.
Alas, I had forgotten such details. In that case I suppose Naofumi just needs to do his best to avoid getting embarrassingly preferential treatment.Silvelt is one of the nations that worships the Shield Hero. Raphtalia got a LOT softer in anime than in LN or even manga. Maybe you forgot her enslaved friend was tortured to agonized death by a racist cunt?Ok not what I expected especially from her but the sweet phalic rod of justice only comes to assholes and cunts
Pegging them wont cause any damage to the goods though 👹Of course not! It would lower the value of the product.
