What "traumatized" Naofumi was a single incident with, what, like a few weeks of hardship?
Yeah, I'm gonna repeat myself here. You need to reread the beginning, because your take is majorly playing it down, and that's an understatement. He didn't just get betrayed by one woman, but accused of attempted rape by her (getting robbed is just icing on the cake). And he got treated like a villain by everyone he met, despite having done nothing wrong. Guilty by default, where the truth was worth nothing. Not by one person, but by everyone. This happened so soon following him getting pulled unwillingly into a strange new world (which is hard enough), where he has to survive while knowing nothing, and will be expected to fight for people that all hate him.

Oh and the people like him now? Yeah, after he's done so much for them, how convenient. While they may love what he's done for them, but where were they when he truly needed them? When he was new to this world, and all alone? At that point, they only shat on him (figuratively), but wouldn't have pissed on him if he was on fire. And if things had gone differently - which they only went well enough through HIS efforts, not theirs - they'd have gladly mocked him as he died a dog's death in front of them. But since they can use him, since he's useful to them, "hurray we love you!" So he should "just get over it"? Fuck that, and fuck them too.

No, I didn't miss your "point". I completely reject it.

Story: "All the adults were killed and children were sold into slavery"

You: One dimensional take filled with personal bias refusing to acknowledge the way a story is written, also ignoring the Mole adults that were bought.
It's less about him buying people from slavery, and more about supporting the business. Back then with Raph it was a necessity, but now that's not really a thing. Shield Hero could definitely stop relying on the slavers, who have been portrayed largely positively.

Imagine watching porn, then complaining about the sex, and finally stating that "sex being a thing in porn is not a good argument when someone finds sex gross".

I mean, you're not entirely wrong, but your argument isn't making you look nearly half as wise as you think it is.
I'm guessing you mean because it's medieval fantasy? I think author can easily write anti-slavery stuffs there. I think I've seen many stories like this where the protagonists in this kind of setting beat up slavers.

I'm pretty sure the noble that enslaved Raphtalia is killed by the Shield hero party, so it's not like anti-slavery is a foreign concept in the manga.
Really hope she got rewritten from the WN version
That bad?

The main perpetrators have been punished, the human government under the queen is on his side, and he has been revered as both saint and savior by people. I think it's completely reasonable to expect him to start opening up some more instead.

It's not like he's not happy when Raphtalia and the soldier grunts show him some respect way back then, "they can use him now, fuck them" doesn't seem to be what's on his mind.

i dont mind a sexless MC, i just wish every woman he meets tries to throw it at him, only for him to get annoyed. Just a waste of panels.
this is a spoiler: the wrath shield makes him emotional incapable, so he can't feel love and shit, only annoyed and wrath. It'll get solve in later story, much much much later.
