The (Casseu) father's past his prime and the daughter is still recuperating, they need time before they can stand on their own.

Time that she's buying by using the people's wary eyes as deterrent against trash dad pulling anything.

Didn't see this coming. I can usually kind of predict what the MCs of these revenge type stories will do, but occasionally it's very refreshing to get completely caught by a surprising development.

Didn't expect Reaper to pick/snipe this one, especially since it had Speedcat doing it so far. Guess they saw a popular series start its 2nd season and wanted to attract that traffic to their site.
