Someone explain to me how this dude is living his second life and somehow neither he nor Dumbledork have the presence of mind to make sure the other guy is actually down before relaxing? Cmon, man, I’m supposed to believe that homeboy was a mage of the highest order, battle-hardened through fire and war, but man…. They make it really easy to forget that.
Although I will say that it’s a nice twist to have an MC who gets his ass beat instead of either stomping every enemy or winning fights by way of contrivance. As long as we don’t see Arthur Leywin levels of losing, then I dig it.
