Why doesn't he open up to the headmaster? He was the one that granted him the item to regress in time, so he should easily believe him.

I feel like it'd make more sense to just leave this headmaster stuff for later when he gets to have a meeting with him 1 to 1, or something in his office. The stakes don't really need to rely on him winning in that sense, and this sort of cryptic answer he gave to the headmaster on his intent just feels inane too.

Writing isn't the best, but well... I'm still reading it...
