I don't get why Ghost chick got scared? She did even more scary shit in all loops that we seen her.

You are right, I think the author is kinda rushing the ghost humanity. Cause' she did feel and act much more sadistically before joining the party. She even threatened her group with death regularly it seemed, but now she shows guilty or at least uncomfortable with Rubia, and has a wide range of emotions aside from blood-lust than don't feel earned.
