Are you talking about overall or something in this chapter? The only time in this chapter when his level increased was after he dodged the strike.

The art is not great, but I'm hoping the writing will make up for that fact. The pace at the start was pretty breakneck. Made it a bit confusing. Seems like the TL is off as well. Basically "Spare me" "I can't, but I will let you go." then he attacks him?
