It's actually neither, or at least that's not what the intention of the floor is.

Spoiler: Floor 35's intent

Not that it'll stop our boy from trying to any% speedrun everything, which in a sense is a valid completion of the floor. The god of remorse made floor 35, the goal's to get people to reflect on their journey so far and make them ask themselves if they're happy with how things have gone and what regrets they have, things like that. Hojae's perfectly happy with his path tho and about to yolo the absolute fuck out of it. Enjoy it, it's the last time he struggles pretty much at all for the rest of the series.
