The story doesn't really get good until chapter 7. Up until it is the typical, shlocky reincarnation stuff, so i suggest reading chapter 1 then jump straight to chapter 7, trust me the only thing you'd miss out on is power fantasy bs

As of ch 20 ive dropped it. Main girl suddenly loves mc lil bro. Its the only girl the MC explicitly said he liked and constantly showed intrest in. Whole things played up as a joke a bit still happening in ch 21. N the mc acting as if they been platonic this whole time and being very side character esk. I like the dynamic of the bros and shifts in story but but any romance is dead. Light ntr even is enuff to drop for me (too much trauma from all these mangas) Gg. I hope i come back 1 day dead wrong.

Complete disappointment, by chapter 37 the story makes no sense, the author seems to ramble too much, the girls are just in the background and at times it seems like a BL because the guy is obsessed with his brother, the FMC is a joke and she seems to spend more time with the brother than with the MC, romance or something like that is totally ruled out, I don't know, it's an attempt at comedy that doesn't give a laugh.

Not impressive stuff, here.

I mean, sure - it's isekai, so there's bound to be formulaic stuff all over, but there isn't anything noteworthy about this at all. The art itself is fine; better than average, if only just, and at least the character designs are decent. Demon Queen's human form might have unlocked a new fetish for me, but anyway.

My problem, such as it is, rests entirely with the storytelling. I'm forever lamenting plots that simply ping-pong from one showy bit of nonsense to the next, and that's all this manga does. MC is noble without cause and without purpose, constantly pulls new powers out of his lily-white ass, continually talks about how all the badass bullshittery he pulls out of said ass was just par for the course when he first lived 2000 years go (or 200, depending on how many 0s the translator and typesetter remember to put in after the 2; it ain't at all consistent!), and I have to admit that I am sick and tired of the sheer repetitious nature of all the Shocked Pikachu Faces that those surrounding him pull. I'm seriously wondering when MC is gonna whip out a Pokeball and throw it at them.

But back to my main point of contention - MC encounters antagonist, pulls off a Brand New Move, moves on. Next chapter? New baddie, new BNM, moves on. Next chapter? No credit for guessing what happens this time. The minor (so minor that it's hiding from P. Diddy) subplot of MC's original fiancee trying to kill him gets glossed over and swiftly forgotten after its (unsurprisingly) bullshit resolution.

This is what happens when your artist friend loses a bet and owes you a big favor, and you have no imagination but played a bunch of crappy JRPGs growing up and are obsessed with a powerfantasy.

The sad thing is, there are a handful of good scraps here that, if properly employed, could have been the foundation of a good or at least decent story. Shitty family relationship could be explored more, the concept of familial love as a conscious decision rather than an emotional response could be introduced, the complexities of a master/servant relationship with a former adversary could be used to plumb the depths of ambitions and understanding beyond the common tropes...even the headmaster as a secret adversary could be an interesting plotline to meander down if only the writer had the slightest shred of creativity!

Alas, there is none to be found, and so I render this with a 3.5/10, with most of that score being dedicated to the competence of the artist.

I was so hyped for the demon lord and hero romance but then she showed signs of love towards the brother and I thought " well she still loves the Mc" but the next chapter all romance towards Mc disappeared so ya I get what you mean im dropping it as of right now. If the author does make it a romance between Mc and demon lord then I'll pick it back up.

The only good point is that there are some beutifull illustrations, but even so this is one of the worst things I have ever read.

In short, is too dumb to be actually inmersed in the plot, and too boring and "complex" to be looked like a comedy/parody.
Also the author doesnt seems to have any respect for the reader, and just meases up the whole harem like he pleases.

Some people say that this is parody, but I think that its just that the author has a really poor writing, sometimes the manga seems like the fantasies of a pre-teenage that thinks its cooking a new muse. But when grown up and reads it, just want to burn it.

It seems nobody gets this manga right... From chapter 1, MC's brother had tsundere personality and femenine looks, so much that i'm guessing if he'll genderswap in one of these characters. As everybody saw, the art is really good, this is a braindead manga to enjoy, just unplug your brain and read it to relax. Also, the most likely way of the harem is this: MC-->Brother-->Every cute girl that appeared or will appear in the future. That completely invalidates the cuck factor, if you **ck the cucker, you're not cuck or something. Well, it's intertwined with 30 types of fethishes, but i'll keep reading just for the art. Mangaka knows how to draw sweaty muscle girls

could not agree more. there are so few stakes in this manga that it gladdens dracula's heart to think of it. the rinse and repeat nature is so unbelievably tiresome, and yet that's all we readers get. now the freaking side characters are so damn OP that even their battles are nearly completely free of tension. it would help if there was even the slightest hint of hint of personality from literally anyone in this manga, but they're all just shitty tropes!!! i keep waiting for something, anything to happen, and yet... nothing does. the story is permanently stuck in first gear
