Not sure what to make of this. Some of the events have been re-arranged compared to the WN, and extra bits have been added that changes the story. I expect changes in an adaptation: scenes deleted, combined, streamlined, etc. But these changes change the story enough that it feels a bit like reading a reboot/remake.

Are these changes better? I'm not sure. Maybe this is meant to be its own thing, inspired by the WN. I definitely don't like how Yeohwa is tied up watching these 2 guys fight. The only thing missing from this "damsel in distress" scenario is for Yeohwa to be tied to railroad tracks, and a runaway train.
