The 'dude plays the role of a villain, female leads eavesdrop on his complaints/inner thoughts' story is actually something of a genre, I think? There are more stories like that, with many similarities.
Especially the 'our MC with a role of a villain being engaged to a FL he was simping after, who has OG MC working as her bodyguard and he keeps deluding himself into believing that she still likes him, meanwhile our MC and that FL are experiencing a role reversal regarding who pines after whom' part.
I've read quite a few webnovels like this.
This one feels a tad different, since our MC is uncommonly (for this sort of a plot, IIRC) hopping between stories (and there are times when he fails at his task of surviving against the plot more often than he succeeds), the system malfunctions and tells (the reader) about his inner complaints leaking to a select few (which will be FLs), and I don't think it's going to follow the overdone 'our MC hates the FL he's engaged with, wishing to be with the calm/quiet servant at home FL he prefers instead' point?
Instead, the sentiment is briefly about his ex-girlfriend, with whom OG villain was in a relationship until some misunderstanding that lead to a break up.
The biggest change happens once he goes to another novel all of a sudden.
It becomes a mix of 'the whole family of villains eavesdrops on our MC's thoughts', at least one of FLs from the previous story following him into this one (the one shown is the ex-girlfriend, who tells him that she can hear his thoughts, then instigates horizontal tango), and that story's MC being a transmigrator (and allies with our MC!).
Our MC completely loses contact with his system for villains, and he and the allied MC think it might be because somebody else became the villain.
My wild guess? The bodyguard from the previous story.
So yeah, I'm very curious about where this story's going.
