That's not how I interpreted the chapter, Konomi asked if you can romance girls and her friend said no. I expect the manga to just not have romance at all (maybe Konomi with the butler).

man i wanna like irene (because i secretly hope for yuri) but she is without question one of the most difficult to like people. she's like a psychopath who haven't learned that there are consequences to pissing people off yet. even if she miraculously turns around as a good person later she has bad karma (from a readers perspective) that needs clearing up and she's just racking up more of it. ive seen eviler villainesses but they are rarely so stupid and annoying to make them that unlikable. its how dumb she is which kinda makes me wanna like her some because you can see under the surface how a lot of how she acts is likely due to her worldview and ignorance which is notably fragile.
