Same. He's still an absolute creep, but at least he's trying his best even after his status being reduced to a commoner. He looks like he finally turning a new leaf.
But he is the perfect sacrificial lamb for this event.
After all, if we look it from an outsider's perspective, Aria is so noble that she is willing to save her brother and sister from being executed for treason. Aria has done everything in her power to give them a place to stay and food to eat. It looks like the brother is doing his best and is rewarded for it and maybe the same can happen to Mielle. After all, she is setting up a tea party for family sake. Unfortunately, Cain died and Mielle is the one who made the tea. How could she do that? After all the things Aria did for her, this is what Mielle did? Execute her! She is rotten to the core and she deserves to die!
